Some more random thoughts!

1. I've developed a hate of reading long posts. Not that it should matter to those who like writing long posts on their blogs (and this is not in particular to anyone alone). I just hate going through those long lines and then thinking what should I reply to this?! So suggestion from me - Keep it short and cool :-)

2. Life's going out of control. I hardly know what im doing or why and nothing seems to make any sense anymore, atleast for now. I seriously need to sort out myself. Im becoming more of a recluse.

3. I'm currently hooked to the song "Sexy Mama (Usher Remix) - by Bombay Rockers". It's a mix of English and Punjabi with RnB beats.

4. Where the hell is Arabian Prince? He aint blogging no more!

5. I wanna write poems, but im not enthusiastic about it anymore. Im not influenced by anything at all, and the willingness to write poems is gone. Without these vital wantingness, there's no point in writing anything. Someday I hope to write again.

6. If I can hate long posts, I can imagine u reading this and thinking "god please i hope it ends here". You bet your bum, it ends here.

Goodnight.

An update on "Mission Abs".

Just thought I'd update on my schedule on losing the beef. I've been working out for the past 2 weeks continuous, and below are the details on what I've been working out:

Jogging - 30 minutes (10 minutes jog at same speed, and 5 minutes walk, and then back)
Stomach crunches - 100 x 2 reps.
Pull ups (Abdomen) - 20 x 3 reps.
Push ups - 20 x 2 reps.
Weight lifting : Dumbells (10 kgs each hand - 10 x 3 reps) & 10 x 1 rep for shoulders.

That much is enough for a time span of working out for an hour. When im not working i.e weekends, i have more energy to lift and run. So the intensity increases there.

Results:

Looking much for fitter and the stomach has gone in a bit. The flab is no longer there, but the stomach still needs a whole lot work out. Gained lots of stamina, where I used to suffer while running, Im not running confidently. The arm feel good and I can lift well. Yesterday I single handedly pushed a car to the car park all alone. Certainly feels good.

Will update the "after" pic soon hopefully.

Mission - Get "Abs".

It was only 3 months ago, when I was in UK, and was only weighing 65 Kgs which was quite normal for me. Fast forward to the present and I weigh a whopping 78 kgs, tucked in with a nice beer belly and a beefed up frame. Now the beefed up frame is allright, atleast my previously worked on "gym muscle" are shaping up nicely. The real problem is the "beer belly". I cant seem to stop eating, and my mind just screams "food dude, what're u doing? Get some food you frigging eater"! The stomach ofcourse obeys whatever the brain orders, and obviously the mouth just obliges to the stomach and before I know it, holy shit I've just gobbled up a Big and Tasty or some nice barbeque mishkakis or whatever is cooked at home, mostly rice.

Now now, one day I wake up, and while taking a shower, the horrow hits me in the form of the toilet mirror laughing at me! It was almost deja vu. There stood out the unborn kid in my stomach, bulging away and mocking my hard earned chest (It takes 15 pushups every hour for that). Thats when I realised I needed to do something about it. Since then it's been evening joggings at Shatti beach followed by a balanced workout on the stomach"crunches, Abs" and weight lifting. The mission is simple.. Lose 10 kgs, get a six pack, build the biceps and the triceps and get stamina. The mission has started, check the "before" pic below and I'll keep u updated with the "after" in a short while:

Aint No Sunshine - Bill Wither

A True Classic

Whenever I've been in that mood where I wanna close my eyes, and imagine myself in a world full of love, peace, harmony and no distractions, a world where happiness is in plenty and morals are respectful, a world where family is family, friends are for live and lovers are the core of a relationships, this is when Bill Withers comes to my rescue. A sexy, sizzling single from the 70's, I can never get bored listening to it, no matter how many times i've heard of it. Here's a little history about this song:

"Ain't No Sunshine" is a song by Bill Withers from his 1971 album Just As I Am. It is 280th on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. It was used in the hit film Notting Hill.

The song has been covered by many artists including Ziggy Marley, Lighthouse Family, Horace Andy, Ben Harper, Van Morrison, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Tom Jones, Eva Cassidy, Al Green, Michael Jackson, Will Young and Woven Hand among others.

There are also several songs sharing the same name and many lyrics from the hook but aren't true covers, such as by Akon, Cuban Link and DMX. The last in particular is more "inspired by" than a true cover like the artist rendentions listed in the above paragraph.

Lyrics:

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
She's gone much too long
Any time she goes away

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
Wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away

I know
She's gone to stay
It's breakin' me up
Anytime she goes away
Gotta leave the young thing alone
There ain't no sunshine when she's gone

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's gone much too long
Any time she goes away

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
I wonder if she's gone to stay
There ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't a home
Any time she goes away

I know
She's gone to stay
It's breaking me up
Any time she goes away
Gotta leave the young thing alone
There ain't no sunshine when she's gone

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
I wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Any time she goes away
Any time she goes away

I would most definitely recommend you to listen to this True Classic.

Goodnight Beoble,
Abs.
