Unforgivable Cologne - By Sean John

There's this general attitude that men get more handsome when they smell better, and the mother of all scents is the one that can make a lady go weak on her knees. How far is that true? Im not sure, coz I just made that up. But I do have a little story to tell...

First of all let me start by saying that my current favourite "Cologne"(notice the opening and closing commas) is definitely Sean John's Unforgivable. It's got everything....it's sexy, mysterious, cool, lovely etcetra. Now on my way back to Oman, from the UK, I remember going to the duty free shop at Heathrow to check out if they had unforgivable. I past atleast 3 duty shops and they all had no idea what unforgivable "perfume" was. So I had to go about explaning P Diddy! and what all he does, and that finally he had produced a perfume which was way better than his crappy songs. Finally one of the assistants corrected my stupidity and it went something like this "You want a COLOGNE, not a PERFUME, coz girls wear perfume not men". Imagine me sheepishly grinning and acting dumb. So men, remember next time u go to buy a PERFUME. It's not PERFUME, it's COLOGNE.

In any case, I finally got the Unforgivable in one of the duty shops, and on trying it, the beautiful phillipino assistant almost went weak with the smell and whispered something like "That's so nice.....I dint know it existed". I ended up getting her number, and Unforgivable. I love u Sean John (in a fanly way, Im straight u know..)

The Inside Man - 2006

Synopsis - A cop has to talk down a bank robber after the criminal's perfect heist spirals into a hostage situation.

Tagline: It looked like the perfect bank robbery. But you can't judge a crime by its cover.
Directed by - Spike Lee

I have to refrain myself from describing the general plot outline of this movie, as I believe it would spoil the elements of the movie for the general audience who havent watched it yet.

I dont know where to start or how, but damn! What a movie! How do I describe it? Tense, thriller, suspence, slick, fantastic...blah blah, where do I start?

This has got to be one of the best movies I've seen in a while, mostly thanks to a great script and great acting by Denzel, Owen and Foster. From the beginning of the bank robbery to a thrilling finale, I was glued to the screen. It's a shame I was not able to catch the movie in a theatre, but even the DVD did the required trick.

If you've watched Dog Day Afternoon starring Al Pacino, then you'll probably start comparing the two, but I would stay away from comparing these movies. Each one is different on it's own. I loved Clive Owen's slick acting. It makes me wonder, why did the Bond producers go for someone else, while they have their own Bond waiting in the line?

My favourite quote in the movie has to be from Owen himself, when he speaks in the beginning while in a Cell (Unknown):

"My name is Dalton Russell. Pay strict attention to what I say because I choose my words carefully and never repeat myself. I told you my name: that's the Who. The Where can most readily be described as a prison cell. But there is a vast difference from being stuck in a tiny cell and being in prison. The What is easy: recently I planned and set in motion events to execute the perfect bank robbery; that's also the When. As for the Why: beyond the obvious financial motivation, it's exceedingly simple... because I can. Which leaves us only with the How; and therein, as the Bard tells us, lies the rub."
